Notice to Parents of Tewksbury Public School Students:

This letter is to welcome you and your child to the Summer Reading Program of the Tewksbury Public Schools. We hope you will agree with us that reading is a most important and rewarding activity. Please note that we are asking all our students to read three (3) books this summer, no matter what grade level they are entering.

Detailed lists located on this web site give further direction to the reading program. Directions and reporting forms are also to be found on appropriate links.

The staff and I thank you in advance for you assistance with this summer reading program. In the fall, classroom teachers will collect the report form(s), and students who meet the requirements will receive a certificate of participation. The systemwide deadline for submitting Summer Reading reports is Friday, September 5, 2008.

Happy Summer Reading!

Loreen R. Bradley
Assistant Superintendent
