Co-Chairs – Playground benches were installed over school vacation. We need to come up with a plan for landscaping. Mulch has been ordered and we should see it soon.

Book Fair- Went very well, last day is on Friday 5/2. We will use our profit for books to be used for summer reading 2009. The library received $400.00 worth of books.

Summer Reading – Will take place on Wednesday 5/28. Noelle Couture from the Tewksbury Public Library will be here to read to the kids. All children will be able to select one book for free to help them reach their summer reading goal of 3 books.

Risers – They are a work in progress. Paul Morris has donated his time with PAC paying the cost of materials. We will be looking into getting handrails.

Open Positions – We have many open PAC positions for 2008-2009 – these include

Co-Chair, Fundraising Committee (2-3 people) SUM-IT, Newsletter and

Arts & Enrichment.

School Directory – We are looking for someone to take this on and send weekly e-mail reminders to parents of upcoming events.

Plant Sale – Mother’s Day plant sale is scheduled for Thursday 5/8 & Friday 5/9 plants will be 50 cents each with a limit of 3 per child.

Spring Clean Up – Date is set for Sunday May 18^th in front of the North Street School.

Ice Cream Social – Ice Cream Social and Used Book Sale will be held on June 6^th. Admission will be $1.00 per person.

Treasurer – No updates this month

Fundraising – We need to decide now if we want to do a Fall 2008 fundraiser. If we do decide to do one, we need someone to run it.

Burger King Night – Kathy Kakleas will head this up. Date is Tuesday May 20^th .

Arts & Enrichment – May 27^th Michelle’s Menagerie for 2^nd grade

May 19^th School wide program Michael Cobray as Beethoven

We have scheduled Matt Noyes from NECN for October 16^th @ 2:00 pm

Teachers – Mrs. Enos would like to purchase die-cuts, Pac has requested a bookmark die-cut. Motion to spend no more then $300.00 approved.

Technology is in need of an LCD projector. Someone will look into getting the cost of a new one. Asking for a donation is also an option.

Town Wide Pac – Will run an online survey about what programs are of interest to students & parents.

Tewksbury Rocks – Is a fundraiser that will be held in June to raise money for technology for the schools. $25.00 will place a small ad in the program book. Motion made to place ad – Motion approved.

4^th Grade – Fun week will be held week of 6/9. Celebration will be held on June 17^th from 10:00 – 12:00.

Lori Piracini is looking into a beach towel fundraiser for our 2009 graduating class.
