Vote passed to purchase system. Maximum to be spent is$1450.00 plus shipping. Rhonda will inquire at Shawsheen Tech about building risers for us.

Fundraising

An order is being placed through Campbell’s labels for playground equipment.

Holiday Breakfast leftovers were donated to the Tewksbury Fire Department on duty officers.

Budget

All recent fundraisers have reported a profit. We still have outstanding expenses for Holiday Shopping night & Holiday Breakfast.

4^th Grade Committee

Plans are underway for the party.

O’Connor Studios will once again be doing pictures. The committee will be meeting again soon.

Teacher Rep

Teacher Allotment due date is 1/31/08.

Arts & Enrichment

The Map Lady will be visiting the 3^rd grade classes on Tuesday 1/24 and Fri 1/25.

Principal’s Remarks

School Council meeting: School improvement plan survey will be done online through surveymonkey.com

Food Service survey will be going out soon.

Jeanne Blackstone’s last day is Friday 1/10. PAC will be purchasing a gift. Vote passed to spend a maximum 0f $170.00.

Misc:

SUM-IT starts this month. 1^st through 4^th graders can participate as long as they complete homework first. Cost is $2.00 per child with a $5.00 per family cap. Need someone head this up next year as this is Ann Marie’s last year at North Street.

Family Reading Night will be held in March – Ellen is looking into speakers.

Coat drive went well. We collected 356 coasts to date.
